Short version: PostureCoach is designed to keep your data on your iPhone. We don't track you, we don't sell data, and we don't have user accounts. The only data that leaves your device is anonymous subscription status (via Apple and our payment provider) and aggregate crash reports.
PostureCoach is built around the principle of local-first data. The following data is collected and stored only on your device:

If you grant permission, PostureCoach saves each completed posture session to Apple Health as a "Mindful Minutes" entry. This data is stored in Apple Health on your device and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. We do not have access to your Health data — we only write to it on your behalf.
You can revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → PostureCoach.
If you enable "Pause during calendar events", PostureCoach reads your calendar locally on your device to check whether you are currently in a meeting. This data is read in real time only and is never stored or transmitted. We do not access the names of attendees, the contents of events, or any other calendar details beyond start/end times.
PostureCoach uses local notifications, delivered by your iPhone, to remind you to check your posture. We do not send push notifications from our servers.
All locally-stored data lives on your iPhone. To delete all data, simply uninstall the PostureCoach app. There is no server-side data to delete because we don't store any personal data on our servers.
Subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained according to their respective policies. To request deletion of your anonymous RevenueCat record, contact support@posturecoach.app.
PostureCoach is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the App, please contact us.
Because we do not collect personally identifying information, most data protection rights (access, rectification, erasure) are exercised directly on your device by uninstalling the app or revoking permissions in iOS Settings. For subscription-related data, contact us at the address below.
RevenueCat and Apple may process data in countries outside your country of residence. By using PostureCoach, you consent to such transfers, subject to the protections in this Privacy Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated through the App or this website. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
